CHARITY FUND RAISING 2018
The fund raising was largely attributed to our "Shorts & Shades Night" held on 30 June 2018. when the sum of £1,476.00 was raised.
Within this figure, Bro. John Fraser PM, contributed by volunteering to have his head shaved on the night of the event, securing a tidy donation of some £500.00, John also took part in a sponsored cycle run that boosted our fund raising sum.
Well done Past Master John, thank you for your tremendous efforts.
A VERY SPECIAL BIRTHDAY
Bro.Tom Galbraith reached the that special time in his life, when he reached the age of 88-years, a magical number within New Monkland Montrose.
Bro. Kenneth W. L. Mason RWM was accompanied on this very special occasion by Bro. Alex McCartney PM, and Bro. Bob Mudie PM.
Bro.Tom was our Lodge Secretary for an amazing period of 35-consecutive years, standing down in 2004.
HISTORIC MOMENT - 24 SEPTEMBER 2018
After finalising details concerning our Lodge moving to our new premises within Lodge Airdrie St. John No.166, Bro. Kenneth W. L. Mason RWM, is happy to sign our lease agreement along with Bro. Craig.
Bro. Kenneth W. L. Mason RWM, along with Bro. Iain Keltie IPM, presenting the representative from "Target Ovarian Cancer" charity organisation who received a cheque for the magnificent sum of £1,972.00.

Our Installation was held for the first time, within Airdrie St John No. 166 Temple on Friday evening of 30 November 2018, when, believe it or not, 88-Attendees reportedly signed our Sederunt book!
Although a completely different experience to that of our normal Saturday Installation, all went fairly well.
